Welcome to MyPlaces App (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the MyPlaces App (“App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

These Terms govern your use of the App, including features such as nearby place discovery, maps, search, account registration, and subscriptions.

2. PRIVACY POLICY FOR APP STORE AND GOOGLE PLAY USERS

This Privacy Policy applies to the use of the MyPlaces mobile application on:

  • Apple iOS devices (App Store)
  • Android devices distributed through the Google Play Store

It covers all App features, including:

Server and Third-Party Processing

MyPlaces App may transmit and process certain information on secure servers in order to provide core functionality, such as account access, place discovery, map-based search, and app performance improvements.

We may also use trusted third-party service providers (such as mapping and payment processors) to support these features. Information is shared only as necessary to deliver requested services and is protected using appropriate security safeguards.

7. PAYMENT METHODS AND SECURE PROCESSING
Subscription Terms & Billing Policy

MyPlaces App offers certain paid services and subscriptions through the Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android).

When you subscribe, the following terms apply:

1. Subscription Pricing

  • Subscription pricing is displayed within the app before you complete the purchase.
  • Prices are set in your local currency and may vary by region.

2. Auto-Renewal Terms

  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and managing auto-renewal settings in your device account (Apple ID or Google Play account).

3. Cancellation Process

  • You can cancel subscriptions at any time via your device’s account settings:
  • iOS: Apple ID > Subscriptions
  • Android: Google Play Store > Subscriptions
  • Cancelling prevents future charges but does not provide a refund for the current billing period.

4. Refund Limitations

  • Refunds are handled in accordance with the App Store and Google Play refund policies.
  • MyPlaces App does not control or issue refunds for in-app purchases outside of these platforms’ policies.

5. Privacy and Payment Security

  • All subscription and payment information is processed securely through Apple In-App Purchase only.
  • Subscriptions and Payments
    All subscriptions in the iOS app are processed securely through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Apple handles all payment information in accordance with its privacy and security standards. We do not collect, store, or process any payment card details on our servers.
  • MyPlaces App does not store full credit or debit card details.

MyPlaces App uses secure third-party payment processors to handle in-app transactions. Payment information is processed directly by authorized providers in accordance with Apple App Store and Google Play requirements.

We do not collect, store, or have access to your full credit or debit card details. All payment transactions are handled securely by the applicable platform or payment processor.

Apple App Store (iOS) Refunds
  • If you purchased a subscription or service through the Apple App Store, Apple handles all refund requests.
  • To request a refund:
  1. Open the App Store on your device
  2. Tap your profile icon > Purchased > Find MyPlaces App
  3. Tap Report a Problem and follow the instructions
  • Apple may approve or deny refunds based on their policies.
Google Play Store (Android) Refunds
  • If you purchased a subscription or service through Google Play, Google handles refund requests.
  • To request a refund:
  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon > Payments & Subscriptions > Budget & Order History
  3. Locate the MyPlaces App purchase and select Request a Refund
  • Google may approve or deny refunds according to their policies.
7.1 Apple Pay (iOS App Store Payments)

For users accessing the MyPlaces App on iOS devices, we may offer Apple Pay as a payment method.

All Apple Pay transactions are processed directly by Apple. We do not receive or store your card number or sensitive payment credentials.

Apple may collect and process certain payment-related information under its own privacy and security practices.

Apple Pay is governed by Apple’s policies, including strict encryption and tokenization standards.

7.2 Google Pay (Android Play Store Payments)

For users accessing the MyPlaces App on Android devices, we may offer Google Pay as a payment method.

All Google Pay transactions are processed securely by Google. We do not collect or store your full payment card details.

Google may process limited transaction information to complete purchases, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

7.3 Stripe Payment Processing (Additional Payment Services)

MyPlaces App uses Stripe exclusively on the Google Play Store for Android users to securely process payments for subscriptions, services, or other transactions.

We do not store your full credit or debit card information. Stripe may collect limited details necessary to:

Acceptable Use Policy

  • Users who repeatedly post infringing content may have their accounts suspended or terminated
