PRIVACY POLICY FOR APP STORE
Location Data

We collect your location in order to show nearby places that are relevant to you. Location data is used only for feature functionality and is not sold or shared with third parties for profiling.

Apple iOS devices (App Store)

It covers all App features, including:

  • Account registration and login
  • Location-based discovery services
  • User-generated content
  • Payment processing (Apple Pay)
  • Optional identity verification

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

Subscription Terms & Billing Policy

MyPlaces App offers certain paid services and subscriptions through the Apple App Store (iOS).

When you subscribe, the following terms apply:

1. Subscription Pricing

Subscription pricing is displayed within the app before you complete the purchase.

Prices are set in your local currency and may vary by region.

2. Auto-Renewal Terms

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

You are responsible for reviewing and managing auto-renewal settings in your device account (Apple ID).

3. Cancellation Process

You can cancel subscriptions at any time via your device’s account settings:

iOS: Apple ID > Subscriptions

Cancelling prevents future charges but does not provide a refund for the current billing period.

Refund Limitations

Refunds are handled in accordance with the App Store policies.

MyPlaces App does not control or issue refunds for in-app purchases outside of these platforms’ policies.

Privacy and Payment Security

All subscription and payment information is processed securely through Apple In-App Purchase only.

Subscriptions and Payments

We use Apple’s in-app purchase system and Apple Pay to process payments. We do not collect or store your full payment card details at any time.

This Privacy Policy applies to the use of the MyPlaces mobile application on.

Apple App Store (iOS) Refunds

If you purchased a subscription or service through the Apple App Store, Apple handles all refund requests.

To request a refund:

  • Open the App Store on your device
  • Tap your profile icon > Purchased > Find MyPlaces App
  • Tap Report a Problem and follow the instructions
  • Apple may approve or deny refunds based on their policies.
Apple Pay (iOS App Store Payments)

For users accessing the MyPlaces App on iOS devices, we may offer Apple Pay as a payment method.

All Apple Pay transactions are processed directly by Apple. We do not receive or store your card number or sensitive payment credentials.

Apple may collect and process certain payment-related information under its own privacy and security practices.

Apple Pay is governed by Apple’s policies, including strict encryption and tokenization standards.

MyPlaces App requests location access only to enhance local discovery features. Location data is never stored longer than necessary and is not shared with third parties except as required to provide core services (such as mapping APIs).

CHILD SAFETY & REPORTING

MyPlaces App has zero tolerance for content or behavior that exploits, harms, or endangers children. Users may report safety concerns or inappropriate content at any time.
